People watching a webinar

Consulting firms have long recognized the value of maintaining strong relationships with former employees, particularly to encourage boomerang hires and support business development.

A recent Altrata study examines the boards and leadership teams of the Fortune 1000, FTSE 350, and Global 500 companies. Consulting firms were then ranked based on the number of alumni they have that currently have a board seat or are members of a leadership teamGiven the valuable skills one can acquire, the alumni of consultancies account for a significant proportion of senior corporate positions around the world, and their some of the most connected individuals.

How are the top consulting firms building and nurturing alumni in these important positions?

During this webinar BoardEx, an Altrata company, and PeoplePath discussed the ways leading consultancies manage their alumni programs to fuel new business development, highlighting the following key insights:

  • The ways in which consultancies are engaging their most valuable audiences
  • How you can begin to think of your program as more than just a network of former employees
  • The critical role alumni communities play in gaining a significant competitive advantage

The panel, which included the author of the report, Maya Imberg, as well as Erin Wickens Sussman from Bain & Company, and Angie Sfeir from Accenture, was moderated by Jenn Pedde, Vice President of Customer Advocacy at PeoplePath.
