We were able to grab some of her time and hear about her experience:

PeoplePath: Tell us about yourself and your professional background.

Angie: I currently lead the Accenture’s global alumni program, where I focus on building meaningful, long-term relationships with our former employees and supporting them through career transitions. My journey at Accenture has included roles in Reporting, Total Rewards & HR Partner, always with a people-first mindset and a passion for creating impactful experiences.

Outside of work, I’m a proud boy-mom, which keeps me grounded, inspired, and constantly learning. Balancing both worlds has shaped my approach to leadership—empathetic, agile, and always human-centered.

PeoplePath: What was your favorite working experience before now?

Angie: One of my most rewarding experiences was serving as an HR Partner. In that role, I had the opportunity to work closely with diverse teams across the business, supporting employees through key moments in their careers—from onboarding to development, transitions, and everything in between. What made it so meaningful was the balance between strategic impact and personal connection. I loved being a trusted advisor, helping people navigate change, and contributing to a culture where individuals felt seen, supported, and empowered.

PeoplePath: How did you get started working in corporate alumni networks?

Angie: It started organically through my work in career transitions and outplacement. I realized how powerful alumni networks can be—not just for business development, but for building a sense of community and continuity. That led me to take on the global alumni program at Accenture, where I now design strategies to keep our former employees engaged, supported, and connected.

PeoplePath: What does a typical day look like for you? What do you most look forward to?

Angie: My days are a mix of strategic planning and hands-on collaboration. I spend time aligning with local teams, reviewing program performance, and designing initiatives that support our alumni. What I most look forward to is connecting with people—whether it’s a former employee sharing their journey or a colleague brainstorming a new idea. Those moments of human connection are what energize me.

PeoplePath: What would you like people to know about you?

Angie: I’d love for people to know that I’m deeply passionate about building human-centered programs that make a lasting impact. Helping people feel seen, supported, and connected—even after they’ve left—is a privilege. And I’m always happy to connect with others who are passionate about this space.

PeoplePath: What do you see as the greatest benefit to an active and vibrant corporate alumni community?

Angie: A strong alumni community extends your culture and influence far beyond your walls. It supports business development, talent acquisition, and brand loyalty. But most importantly, it reinforces the idea that people matter—even after they’ve moved on.
